Reminds me of Iain M Banks’s Feersum Endjinn, where the castle resisted investigation by leveraging its smart fabric to hurl ghosts at the workers trying to drill out its walls!

RE tools like IDA or Ghidra can generate a control flow graph (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Control-flow_graph) for a function found in the target binary

this tool generates functions that show up as an image when rendered like that
